Welcome to Solid Oak Ranch where, as a famiily, we train quality using horses & ponies and raise Nubian dairy goats
We are always up to something new! Be the first to hear about new horses and goat milk products.
Training quality, using horses & ponies is our passion! We take our time to find phenomenal prospects and they become our personal horses until they have excelled across the board to become the next great, reliable horse in a new family.
Our Philosophies
Christ
We are Christians and we stand firm on who we are in Christ. Jesus calls us to be useful in the kingdom, showing others his love while serving and helping where we can.
marriage
The best thing you can do for your children is to love your spouse. The best thing you can do for your spouse is to know and love Jesus.
Family
We believe that everyone in our family has a unique purpose and role on our Ranch and in life. We encourage developing each God-given passion and doing life together.
homeschooling
We passionately value the opportunity to guide and instruct our children through homeschooling, treasuring the time we get to spend together. We are committed to an education that develops strengths and strengthens weaknesses. Being home also gives them the opportunity to be completely involved in everything at the Ranch, being an essential part of all we do.
horse training
We are committed to both our horses and future owners of the horses and ponies we sell. The essential first step is to find a prospect that has the ability to excel in the areas we require. From there, we take the time to train and use the horses ourselves. No quick flips. Our #1 goal with each ride is to get along with the horse so they are confident and happy.
dairy goats
Our kids were the first ones to discover how amazing dairy goats are! Through their love for showing them, we realized how useful they can be too. Our girls run the business, doing ALL of the care for the goats and making the goat milk products. They are trying new recipes and developing favorites along the way, using as few ingredients as possible and keeping it natural.
Our Nubians are a favorite on the ranch! They are raised for show and their milk is used to make soaps, lotion bars and other products.
